¶ E305 - Left nozzle temp is too low
Left nozzle temp is too low
¶ Steps:
(1) Ensure the temp of surrounding meets specification.(10℃ - 30℃)
(2) Check the cable connection of the temp thermistor - left nozzle.
- Power printer off, unplug main power cable, take left extruder assembly off.
- Use 2.0 mm hex screwdriver to remove the 4 screws fixing the black cover of left extruder. (Figure - 1)
- Re-plug the plug of nozzle temp sensor in the interconnection board (red highlighted in figure - 2), and install left extruder assembly back. Use the knob wrench to to remove the back cover of printer, locate the J10 in main board and re-plug it (highlighted in figure - 3). Then, power printer on and do a test printing.

(3) If the issue persists,
Check if the left temperature sensor or its cable was broken. Refer to step 1 & 2 to take the left extruder assembly off, unplug the plug of nozzle temp sensor (Figure - 2), and use the meter to measure the resistance of the sensor via the 2 pins of plug (it should be around 110Ω@25℃). If the resistance value is very small, then the temp showing is very low. Please replace the temp sensor.(step of replacement)
(5) If issue persists.
Check if the cables in left umbilical track had any damages. Meanwhile, unplug plug-J10 in main board again (Figure - 3), measure the resistance value via the pin #10 & #12, normally the value should be around 110Ω @25°C ( Figure - 5 ). If the value measured via the 2 pins of J10 is abnormal or short of circuit was measured, then it's the cable issue, please check and replace the assembly of unbilical track and cables.
(6) If the resistance measured through J10 is normal, but issue persists, please replace the main board.(step of replacement)
