There are 2 heating fans under heating chamber. The front one rotates clockwise, the rear one rotates anticlockwise. So, the PN of motor and fan blade of these 2 heating blowers are different. Don’t mess them up when install them.
a. Power machine off, and unplug the main power cable. Remove the left and back cover with knob wrench (Figure 1.4-1).
b. Remove 2 covers of raceway. Loosen the screws and remove the power cables (red highlighted in Figure 4.2-1) of the 2 motors from K3-Relay.
c. Unplug the cables connectors (blue highlighted in Figure 4.2-1) in 2 capacities.
d. Find the ground line connector (check the label on cables) in the terminal of ground line, and take it off. (Yellow highlighted in Figure 4.2-1)
e. Take these cables out of raceway. Pull filament chamber out completely to get enough space.
f. The 2 motor assemblies are above the chiller. Remove 6 screws in two sides of the mount and take the assembly off. Figure 4.2-2
g. Remove the nut with 14mm socket wrench (red highlighted in Figure 4.2-3), and loosen the set screw (blue highlighted in Figure 4.2-3). Then, separate the motor and fan blade.
h. Remove 4 nuts with 7mm socket wrench, and take the motor off the mount. Then, do the replacement as needed. Figure 4.2-4
i. If the 2 motors were going to be replaced at the same time, do not mess up the 2 motors and their fan blade. Their rotation directions are different.
