¶ Nozzle Cleaning Station (Scraper & Brush)
¶ Steps:
a. Open the front door, make sure all temperature settings are set to “0” and the current temperature of related components are acceptable for procedures.
b. Lower build-plate to lowest position.
c. Remove 2 screws with 2.5mm Allen Key from the bottom of both left and right nozzle brush block Assy and take them out.
d. Remove the screws with 2mm Allen key to remove the 3 old scrapers separately.
e. Put on the new scrapers to the block, and adjust the height of scraper. Make sure the scraper is 1mm lower than the top surface of brush. Figure 4.5-1
f. Do the same steps for the left assembly. g. Put the 2 block assemblies back and tighten 2 screws with 2.5mm Allen Key
from the bottom to finish this replacement. Figure 4.5-2
h. To replace the brush. Follow the procedure above to remove the nozzle scraper and brush block Assy, and install the new brush.
i. To adjust the height of brush. loosen the 4 screws of the whole stand a little with 3mm Allen Key to make it moveable. Figure 4.5-3. Press “System” icon – “extra option” – “Motor enabled” for manually moving the extruder Assy. Figure 4.5-4. Move the extruder Assy to the position right above the brush, then Manually lift or lower the stands to make the brush touch the nozzles a little bit. Then, tighten the 4 locking screws.
