¶ 2.3 Feed Motor
¶ Steps:
a. Follow 2.1 to take extruder assembly off the machine.
b. Unplug J3 (feed motor) in left interconnection board. Figure 2.3-1
c. Remove 4 screws (Figure 2.3-2, Figure 2.3-3) fixing the rail with 2.5mm hex screwdriver, then take the motor and rail assembly off (Figure 2.3-4)
d. Remove 4 screws with 1.5mm hex screwdriver that fixing the motor with rail assembly. (slide the rail to remove the upper 2 screws, notice: don’t move the rail completely off the bearing, this could causes bearing balls dropping off, which damages the bearing). Then, take the motor off the assembly, replace it as needed.
