¶ 1.6 Filament Sensor, Tube Fitting (Bridge), Black Top Surrounding Cover
1. Disconnect the main power. Remove the right, left and back cover by the knob wrench.
2. Remove the 4 screws on the hinge (red highlighted in Figure 1.6 - 2) with 2.5 mm Allen-Key to take top cover off.
3. Remove the 6 black screws on each side of top surrounding cover with 2.0 mm Allen-Key (Blue highlighted in Figure 1.6 - 2)
4. Go to the backside of machine, locating the 4 screws highlighted in Figure 1.6-3, and remove them with 2.5 mm Allen-Key.
5. Go to the top of chamber. Remove the 5 screws on the metal plate (Figure 1.6 - 4) back of the tough screen with 2.0 mm Allen-Key.
6. Remove the 4 screws red highlighted in Figure 1.6 - 5 (backside the screen)
7. Then, lift the top surrounding cover a bit to get access to the filament tube fitting. Replace the sensor as needed. Figure 1.6 - 6 (Don’t lift the cover too much, take care of the cables of touch screen and surrounding components)
8. If the tube fitting is going to be replaced, remove the 2 screws from chamber to take it off. (Figure 1.6 - 7)
