When a model is inserted into INTAMSUITE NEO, it is automatically placed in a recommended position with the position, orientation and scale size when it was designed. You can manipulate the model to fulfill your print strategy using the move, rotate and scale tool, which allows the model to be transformed along its X, Y, and Z axes.
Select the model and manipulate the 3D gizmo. You can transform the model freely but without precise control.
Select the model you want to transform and invoke a command under ribbon→Model tab
Or select the model and use a related command in RCM(Right Click Menu)
Arrow handlers - Drag these to freely move the model on any specific axis.
Plane handler - Drag this to freely move the model in X-Y plane.
Reference Coordinate - Decide the orientation of gizmo whose axes are always parallel with the selection here and origin is located at the center the selected model(s).
World coordinates: also known as machine coordinate system which is constantly set and shown at the front-left corner of the build plate.
Local coordinates: automatically calculated on the selected model, and it is not changed as long as no update on the geometric shape of the model.
Note: It only works for single model. If multiple models are selected, you have no way to get this option used.
Location - Can be used to set exact coordinates of the selected model (or the origin of the gizmo), which is measured from World coordinates.
Delta Move - Set exact delta-distance along X/Y/Z axis of gizmo or reference coordiante system for each move.
Save as Original - By default, the original position, orientation and size of the selected model are defined and stored as they are imported, and you can click the command to override these values in matrix after these models are transformed.
Reset - Reset all transformations of the selected models to its original position, orientation and size.
Rotate hoops - Drag these hoops to freely rotate the model on the selected axis.
Rotation - Can be used to set exact Euler angles of the selected model (its location coodinate sytem), which is measured from World coordinate system.
Delta Rotate - Set exact delta-rotation along X/Y/Z axis of gizmo or reference coordiante system for each time.
Save as Original - By default, the original position, orientation and size of the selected model are defined and stored as they are imported, and you can click the command to override these values in matrix after these models are transformed.
Reset - Reset all transformations of the selected models to its original position, orientation and size.
Scale handlers - Drag these handlers to uniformly scale the model.
Dimension - Can be used to set exact dimensions of the selected model, which are measured in reference coordiante system. By default, scaling is symmetrical, both sides of the model expand uniformly and the center stays in place.
Scaling factor - Can be used to set exact scaling factor of the selected model. which is always measured and calculated in local coordinate system of the selected model.
Uniform Scaling - Switch between uniformly or non-uniformly scaling .
Save as Original - By default, the original position, orientation and size of the selected model are defined and stored as they are imported, and you can click the command to override these values in matrix after theese models are transformed.
Reset - Reset all transformations of the selected models to its original position, orientation and size.
This is the all-in-one tool to combine all features of Move, Rotate and Scale., so you can just refer to individual tool one by one above to know how to use it.
