¶ Preferences
You can open the Preferences dialog by selecting Application Menu - Preferences, which includes useful options for the interface, units, print settings, file handling and software update.
¶ General
1. Language: INTAMSUITE NEO offers English and Simplified Chinese translation for user interface, and opens in English by default. Please select your preferred language and restart to take effect.
2. Currency: Change the currency indicator for cost per gram and print of material consumed. There is no automatic currency conversion after changing this.
3. Model:
- Auto Drop Model to Build Plate: It enforces the model sitting on the build plate no matter what kind of transformation you make. Turn off this option to allow 3D models to float, which will be useful to create custom supports or manually aligning 3D models.
- Enable LOD Display: Check the option to save memory when displaying models with large size of mesh
- Snap Rotation and Snap Angle: Set the default snaping angle during rotating a model
4. Use Recent Printer Settings: Turn on to use the recent printer, print mode, extruder and profile selections for new study, and the value of Default Printer will be changed once you change printer type in recent study.
5. Default Printer: When disable the option of Use Recent Printer Settings, you can use this option to define the default printer type for new study.
6. Default Filter: Decide the default profile level to see for profile management.
7. Enter Preview after Slicing: Enable to enter preview workspace automatically after slcing is done. Of you need to click Results command in ribbon or switch to results workspace manually.
8. Automatically check for update: When enabled, INTAMSUITE NEO check if a newer version is available and a dialog pops up to let users decide to update or not.
¶ Default Path
- Use Recent Project Path: When saving a new project, you are navigated to the path that you did last time if enabled. Or you can specify a default path to save project.
- Use Recent Model Path: When adding new models in study, you are navigated to the path that you did last time if enabled. Or you can specify a default path to open models.
- Use Recent Gcode Path: When exporting new Gcode file, you are navigated to the path that you did last time if enabled. Or you can specify a default path to save Gcode.
- Auto Clear Temporary File: Enable to delete temporary files generated during slicing when Max. Days to Keep comes, which can avoid to run out of disk space quickly.
- Clear Temp Files: Click to delete temporary files manually at any time.
- Reset All: Reset all changes in Preferences dialog to preset values.
