When having a g-code file in hands, you can open it in a text editor like Notepad++ to read the information inside, which requires a good knowledge of gcode format. In order to have a better understanding, you can open Gcode file in INTAMSUITE NEO directly to preview its printing paths with print head in colors and 3D interactively. Marlin G-code flavor is supported well.
In Curent Project: A new study is created in your current project and gcode file is interpreted in results workspace.
In a New Project: A new project and then a new study is created and gcode file is interpreted, so that you can check it in results workspace.
Note:
File with .gcode extension is supported, but not for .ifp file.
All commands in results workspace can be used to help you understand and estimate the gcode.
Printer type selected in latest study and project will be used to hold the opened G-code file. So you are suggest to choose a correct printer type to avoid mis-match beforehand.
The total print time and ones for each model feature are read from annotations in g-code file directly. If no these kind of info included, they will be calculated automatically based on coordinates, speed etc. in gcode.
The material types are read from annotations in g-code file directly. If no these kind of info included, selections in latest study and project are used.
The lenght and weight of material consumption are calculated automatically based on extrusion values in gcode.
